Abies balsamea BALSAM FIR
Zone: 4 Height: 50 ft. Width: 20-25 ft. A pyramidal and stately shaped needled evergreen. Prefers good drainage and colder climates. An excellent evergreen specimen.
Abies balsamea phanerolepis CANAAN FIR
Zone 4 Height: 50 ft. Width: 20-25 ft. Similar to A. fraseri but is more tolerant to wet and dry conditions. Later bud break in the spring makes this variety less susceptible to late spring frost damage.
Abies fraseri FRASER FIR
Zone: 5 Height: 50-75 ft. Width: 20-25 ft. Popular conifer having thick glossy green needles and a dense conical growth habit. Outstanding as a specimen or planted in small groups. Prefers rich, well-drained soil in full sun.
Chamaecyparis nootkadensis glauca BLUE NOOTKA FALSE CYPRESS
Zone: 4 Height: 30-45 ft. Upright habit with slightly drooping tips and branchlets that drape down from branches. Evergreen foliage is bluish-green. Plant in moist well-drained soil in sun. Very hardy, makes an unusual and beautiful specimen. Not to be con fused with Weeping Nootka Cypress.

30 ft. (Zone 4) Beautiful, graceful, elegantly arranged weeping branches and rich green foliage. Prefers moist well-drained soil in full or part sun. Makes a beautiful landscape specimen.

6 ft. (Zone 5) Short, dark green, frond-like branchlets. Compact pyramidal growth habit. Very similar to C.obtusa but more compact growing. Full sun to partial shade but will tolerate shade.

3 ft. (Zone 3) Very appealing dwarf shrub with golden thread-like foliage. Popular specimen for small gardens. Best color in full sun but will grow in partial shade. Very similar to, Gold Mop Cypress.

25-30 ft. (Zone 4) Dark-green, columnar Juniper having a dense, upright growth habit. May require semi-annual trimming to maintain form. Also available in a 3 tiered poodle form.

Juniperus chinensis ‘Saybrook Gold’ (P.P.No. 5014) SAYBROOK GOLD JUNIPER
3 ft. (Zone 4) Semi-dwarf spreading variety of Juniper. Bright yellow foliage throughout the growing season, turning deep gold in fall and winter. Claimed to be the best golden Juniper. Very hardy. Best in full sun. Shrub and pom-pom forms available.

12-15 in. (Zone 5) Low evergreen with blue-green foliage. Very tolerant of poor soils, but prefers good drainage. Best in full sun but seems to be more tolerant of shade than other Junipers. Salt tolerant.

10-12 in. (Zone 4) Low spreading growth habit with silvery-blue foliage. Turns blue-green with a tinge of purple in winter. Very tolerant of hot dry heavy soils in part or full sun. Excellent for banks or large groundcover areas.

4 in. (Zone 3) Dense, compact silvery-blue foliage on this ground-hugging plant. Very interesting addition to any landscape.

6-8 in. (Zone 4) Very low, ground hugging, evergreen. Striking golden-yellow foliage. Tolerant of many soils except wet areas. Plant in full sun. Taken as a sport from Blue Rug Juniper, a real eye catcher.

5-10 in. (Zone 4) Extremely low growing, ground hugging variety of Juniper. Silvery-blue foliage looks appealing year round. Popular as a groundcover in foundation plantings, banks, or tops of walls where it will cascade over for a really nice effect. Also available in a top grafted form.

12 in. (Zone 5) A low spreading evergreen with light green foliage. Very com pact becoming a thick green mat with time. Prefers full to part sun in well- drained soil. Also available in a top grafted form.

12 in. (Zone 3) Dark green foliage with a dense, slightly mounding, spreading growth habit. Very similar to Tam’s and Moordense Juniper. Resistant to Juniper Tip Blight.

8-12 in. (Zone 3) A very dense form of the J.s. ‘Broadmoor’. More refined ap pearance to the crisp bright green foliage. Very similar to Broadmoor and Tam’s Juniper.

Larix decidua ‘Pendula’ WEEPING EUROPEAN LARCH 15-20 ft. (Zone 4) Weeping form of L. decidua. A tall growing deciduous conifer with irregular weeping habit. Top grafted and ground grafted forms available.
Metasequoia glyptostroboides DAWN REDWOOD
Zone: 4 Height: 70-80 ft. Width: 25 ft. Fast growing deciduous tree with a pyramidal habit. Needles are dark green in summer turning orange or red-brown in fall. Beautiful ribbed bark as it ages. Prefers moist acid soil in full sun. Keep away from severe winter winds. Used as a specimen or in groves.
Microbiota decussata SIBERIAN CARPET CYPRESS 1 ft. (Zone 3) Extremely hardy low growing evergreen similar in appearance to some low growing Junipers. Lacy green foliage is green turning burgundy for winter and is shade and drought tolerant. Excellent ground cover for sun or shade.

Zone: 2 Height: 70 ft. Width: 25-30 ft. Fast growth rate with lustrous dark green needles and pyramidal growth habit.

3 ft. (Zone 2) Very similar to P.a. nidiformis but with an excellent blue color. Also available in a top grafted form.
Picea abies nidiformis BIRD’S NEST SPRUCE
3 ft. (Zone 2) A dwarf from of P. abies. Excellent for rock gardens or low plantings. Naturally grows dense, compact and spreads into a mound-like nest.
Picea abies ‘Pendula’ WEEPING NORWAY SPRUCE
(Zone 2) Weeping form of Norway Spruce with dark green needles. A desired size can be maintained by proper pruning. Prefers moist well-drained soil in full or part sun. Makes a beautiful specimen year round in rock gardens and foundation plantings.

4-5 ft. (Zone 2) Globe shaped plant can achieve 8-10 ft. in width. Blue-green needles on dense branches.

Zone: 2 Height: 50 ft. Width: 10-20 ft. Short-needled evergreen with dense gray-green foliage. Tolerant of most any soil condition. Pyramidal growth habit. Best Spruce for planting close.

8-10 ft. (Zone 2) A very slow growing, miniature, bright green needled spruce. Very compact. Requires little or no pruning. Prefers sun to light shade. Very hardy! Also available in spiral and 3 tier poodle forms.

Zone: 4 Height: 50-60 ft. Width: 20-25 ft. Densely branched, pyramidal growing conifer with a graceful habit. Distinct white bands on the lower surface of the needles give the plant a bi-color effect of green and silver. Tolerant of urban conditions.

Zone: 3 Height: 60 ft. Width: 20-40 ft. Long, dark green needles. Extremely hardy and will tolerate almost any exposure or soil condition. Makes an excellent specimen tree and is often used for screening and wind-breaks. Salt tolerant.

3-4 ft. (Zone 5) Low growing spreading yew with dark green foliage. Very shade tolerant and does not fruit heavily. Effective in mass plantings and groupings.
Taxus cuspidata capitata JAPANESE UPRIGHT YEW 25 ft. (Zone 4) The plants we have to offer have been evenly sheared into a dense pyramid. Their formal elegance is very appealing.

(Zone 4) Low growing spreader with a unique informal weeping appearance but takes shearing well if a more formal shape is desired.
Taxus media ‘Browni’ BROWN’S GLOBE YEW
4-6 ft. (Zone 4) Compact, rounded globe yew that shears very well and can be easily maintained to a small size. Produces no fruit.
Taxus media densiformis DENSIFORMIS SPREADING YEW
3-4 ft. (Zone 4) Our most popular spreading yew variety. Dense, bright green foliage with no fruit.
Taxus media ‘Hicksi’ HICK’S COLUMNAR YEW
(Zone 4) Excellent columnar form of Taxus with dark green needles. Prefers moist well-drained soil in sun or shade. Tolerates heavy shearing to maintain a desired size. Usually seen as a hedge or specimen of 4 to 5 feet, but can be grown into a larger screening evergreen of 12 to 15 feet. Very popular.

30-36 in. (Zone 4) Broad globular growth habit with golden-yellow foliage. Dense, even shape with-out trimming. Very hardy. Full sun.
Thuja occidentalis ‘Bowling Ball’ MR BOWLING BALL GLOBE ARBORVITAE
24-30 in. (Zone 3) Very slow growing arborvitae with sage green foliage and perfect form. Varies dramatically with other Thuja in appearance and texture, more resembling a fine needled Juniper or Chamaecyparis. Nice for small rock gardens, needs little pruning. Same as Linesville arb

Zone: 3 Height: 20-30 ft. Good dark green winter color and very narrow upright growth habit. Can be easily maintained as hedging by trimming. Very similar to Thuja o. ‘Nigra’ but a little narrower. Also known as Northern White Cedar.
