Aegopodium podograria 'Variegatum' SNOW-ON-THE-MOUNTAIN or GOUTWEED or BISHOP'S WEED 6-12 in. (Zone 3) Versatile, fast growing ground cover that is useful where little else will grow, in sun or shade, rich or poor soil. Leaves are green with silver margins. Ajuga reptans ‘Varieties’ CARPET BUGLE 2-6 in. (Zone 4) Low growing semi-evergreen foliage with blue flower spikes in May through early summer. Prefers partial shade. Does well in sunny area if soil is kept from drying out. Ajuga reptans ‘Burgundy Glow’ - Foliage is green, creamy white and pink tricolor. Arcotostaphylos - See FLOWERING SHRUBS BEARBERRY Cerastium tomentosum ‘Yo Yo’ SNOW-IN-SUMMER 6-8 in. (Zone 3) Gray, wooly foliage topped with white flowers in May and June.
