Culinary

Basil 'Dark Purple Oval' - Large deep purple-leaved basil with classic flavor and ornamental!

 

Basil 'Genovese' - A sweet basil with large green leaves.  Prized culinary herb for pesto. 


Basil 'Mammoth' - A large leaved basil variety with fantastic flavor, aroma, and slower to bolt.  Ideal for wraps, but can be used like any other basil.  Recommended.


Basil 'Lemon' - A unique variety of a classic plant.  This small leaved variety grows to 15 inches tall.  Great with vegetable dishes, salads, fish, and even tea!   


Chives - The leaves and pink flowers are edible on this onion family member.  Perfect as a mild garnish for sandwiches, salads, and just about anything!  Easy to grow.   


Cilantro 'Slo-Bolt' - For salsas and bean dishes, and also used when cooking fish, this variety is slow to produce flowers, making it ideal for the home gardener and industrial use.  A staple in any garden.  


Dill 'Long Island Mammoth' - A vigorous variety that matures quickly, Long Island Mammoth grows large seed heads ideal in use for pickling.  Is a host plant for swallowtail butterflies.


Oregano 'Vulgare' - A variety with a mild aroma, and great to spice up meat and vegetable dishes.  Blooms are pink to deep purple.  Perennial.  


Parsley 'Berlin' - 75 Days - Very popular with the Pennsylvania Dutch, this variety is time and time again tried and true.  A winter-hardy German strain.
