FACEBOOK “LUCK OF THE IRISH” GIFT CARD GIVEAWAY CONTEST RULES

Are YOU feeling Lucky? Test your plant identification skills (or your johnstonplants.com website researching skills) for a chance to WIN a $25 GIFT CARD to JOHNSTON’S EVERGREEN NURSERY & GARDEN CENTER!

 

To play: Our Facebook post contains 5 plant photos, numbered 1 through 5. Each photo shows a plant with a name that has a St. Patrick’s Day-themed word that is missing from its name label. Fill in the blank of the plant’s cultivar Common Name to win! The first Facebook friend to MESSAGE US (please, DO NOT post your answers in the comments) with all 5 missing words in the correct numbered order will WIN a $25 Gift Card to Johnston’s Evergreen Nursery & Garden Center.

 

Submit your guesses, labeled 1 – 5 corresponding to the labeled pictures in a PRIVATE MESSAGE via Facebook Messenger to the Johnston’s Evergreen Nursery & Garden Center Page administrator. You must be a legal adult (18+) and able to claim your prize with a photo ID in person at our Corporate office or Garden Center (see rules for details).

 

Hint: All of these plants can be found on our website, www.johnstonplants.com.

 

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.

 

1. Contest beings at 9:00am on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 and continues until 11:59pm on the same day. Winner will be announced on Facebook on Thursday, March 18, 2021 and contacted via Facebook Messenger.

2. How To Enter: Participant must send a private Facebook Message to Johnston’s Evergreen Nursery, Inc. with correct responses for each of the 5 Fill-in-the-Blank plant name identification photos, listed in the correct and corresponding order.

3. This contest is administered by Johnston’s Evergreen Nursery, Inc. Facebook does not endorse, sponsor, administer, promote or assume responsibility in any way for this contest or its participants.

4. Prize is one (1) $25.00 USD gift card to Johnston’s Evergreen Nursery & Garden Center to be awarded to the first eligible person to submit 5 correct answers in accordance with posted contest rules. Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Contest is open to any adult aged 18+ who can claim the prize in person by showing valid state identification at Johnston’s Evergreen Nursery corporate office or Garden Center during regular business hours. Employees and immediate family members of Johnston’s Evergreen Nursery are excluded from participation. Void where prohibited by law.

6. Winner may collect gift card at Johnston’s Evergreen Nursery, Corporate Office, 9865 Wales Road, Erie, PA 16510 or Johnston’s Garden Center, 10000 Wales Road, Erie, PA 16510 during regular business hours. Name on ID should match winner’s Facebook account name. Prize winner is solely responsible for claiming and paying any taxes that may result from winning this contest.

7. Odds of winning depends on the number of accurate contest entries submitted during the contest period.

8. By participating in the contest, Contestant agrees to be fully and unconditionally bound by the rules of this contest. Contestant’s participation indicates acceptance of all rules and conditions of this contest. Additionally, Contestant agrees to accept the decision of Johnston’s Evergreen Nursery as final and binding as it relates to this Contest.
