News & Updates

The past remembered is a good guide for the future.

What a ...winter? This past season has been quite a change from anything we have seen in the recent past. The 2011 spring season was greatly hampered by adverse weather and wet conditions, and was followed by a very dry summer. The fall, back to wet, but was more manageable. However, as we look back, there were trends that we saw indicating recovery from spring losses as long as the weather cooperated. Of course, that is not to say that economic concerns do not remain elevated for us but, at the same time, it may be an indicator that or customers want to continue and plant, update their landscapes, and place importance on allocating resources to their personal environment.

In any case, we believe in the resolution of our customers. We have seen green industry professionals in addition to gardening enthusiasts endure the many obstacles that the weather and other regional conditions can provide! All with an unshakable fortitude and strength. It seems the more our customers face in challenges, the harder they work to carry on. We are so grateful for those that continue to provide communities with plantings and landscaping, bringing beauty to so many, regardless of what gets thrown at them!

With all this in mind, we look forward to this upcoming season with the anticipation that conditions will be more normal and that we, as a community, are ready to start spring projects. Therefore, we are getting inventory ready, performing maintenance and repairs on our equipment, getting our website and social media pages updated and ready, and in general, planning on getting to work! We want to be prepared for when the season starts so that when our customers are all set to work, we are too. At present, our target opening date in the first week of April, 2012.

Thank you all in advance for your continued patronage.
