Hedera helix 'Thorndale' THORNDALE ENGLISH IVY

Zone: 5   Height: 6-8 in. Can climb up to 90 ft.
 
 Smaller-leafed and lower-growing than H. helix.  Evergreen foliage is a rich, glossy dark green.  Used as a groundcover or as a climber, it has rootlike holdfasts that enable it to cling to any rough surface.  Grows well in sun or shade. Popular and very hardy.
