    Normally growing as a multi-stemmed or low-branching small tree.  Abundant 6 to 8 inch long fragrant fleecy-white blooms in spring before the foliage.  Unusual flowers are followed by dark blue, grape-like fruit in late summer on female plants.  Thick dark green foliage turns yellow in autumn. Great for city plantings.
