Rubus 'Chester' CHESTER THORNLESS BLACKBERRY

 
3 to 4 ft. (Zone 5) Developed by the USDA in 1985, a thornless, semi-erect variety with good resistance to disease.  Fruit are large with great flavor.  The hardiest and most productive of the thornless blackberries.  Great for wine-making.  Self-pollinating.
