Sambucus 'John's' JOHN'S ELDERBERRY

 
A native to North America with highly nutritious, dark purplish-red fruits in large clusters. The berries are sweet with a hint of dry tangy flavor. Fall color is a red-orange. Grows fast and attracts butterflies. Good for jams and pies. Tolerant of most any condition. Cook fruit before eating.
